We are the Mendoza family — a proud family of five, built on love, service, and creativity. My wife and I are blessed with three amazing children: one adventurous son and two wonderful daughters who inspire us every single day.

My wife is an Okie and the proud owner of a small boutique called Dalalibowtique where she handmakes outfits and clothing for children.

Our story began with a foundation of service. As a Active-Duty Service member of the United States Air Force, with 10 years of service, I learned the values of dedication, precision, and integrity. Those same values now guide everything we do as a family and as a business.

Originally from Washington State, I have traveled around the world being stationed at Tinker AFB, Andersen AFB, and now Sheppard AFB. I love exploring my creative side and seeing what my curiosity can teach me.

What started as a hobby in our home office has grown into SideSwipe Creations — a small business dedicated to crafting meaningful, custom laser-engraved and wood working products. From military awards and plaques to personalized gifts and home décor, each piece is designed with the same attention to detail and pride that I’ve carried during my time in uniform.
